LNTS №002
We’re excited to announce our second episode of Late Night Tea Shop by WAI TEA at @sexto.station — an evening dedicated to 🍵 tea and creativity. A tasting and creative gathering built around the culture of tea.
This time program include:
🎶 Live concert of experimental jazz / portuguese folk fusion band ARMA. Lisbon-based trio blending the heritage of academic jazz with an experimental spirit. Exploring traditional Portuguese music that once gave voice to the 1975 Carnation Revolution, the group reinterprets its essence through contemporary sound, improvisation, and live interplay. The name Arma — meaning “weapon” — echoes the idea of song as a cultural and emotional
force capable of inspiring change.
🍵 Matcha workshop / ceremony by Viktoriya Melnikova. Vika-san says she's made of 80% Matcha and 20% other substances. A long-time admirer of Japanese tea culture, Viktoriya follows its rituals and traditions closely. She will host a series of small workshops for all event attendees, including a Matcha ceremony featuring ceremonial high-quality grade matcha.
🎧 Two conceptual DJ sets by our part of the team Chakki and an iconic figure in Lisbon's underground music scene, founder and owner of the cult record store Peekaboo, and a Du-selector with over 20 years of journey in music — Trol2000. They both will prepare a special 2 hours set of finest sound for drinking tea.
🍃 Tea ceremony by Pshenichka Anna — the tea master of our Tea House has been part of the Waking Life festival for two years. Based in Berlin and currently visiting Lisbon, Anna will lead a two-hour tea ceremony featuring a degustation of three exceptional types of tea from northern Vietnam.
🍸 At the bar, we’ll serve our own tea-based signature cocktails crafted with love.
