Welcome to Infinite Motion! Join us at Transmission as we celebrate eight years of the sustainable fashion brand Rendered. We are highlighting local sustainable fashion designer Saba Tshibaka, and her work over the last 8 years on models of all sizes, genders, and abilities. You can expect three floors of activity featuring interactive workshops, a vendor market, and a runway show combining sustainable fashion with live performances. The Cause: Fashioning a Culture of Care At its core, Infinite Motion is a harm reduction fundraiser. We believe in bodily autonomy, which means respecting choices, rejecting shame, and making care fiercely available to our community. Every ticket sold, dollar donated, and sponsorship secured directly funds critical harm reduction supplies, community outreach, education, and staffing at Transmission. (Please note: donations are appreciated but are not tax-deductible). The Experience & Schedule: Your ticket invites you to move with us through a multi-part, immersive day. Complimentary food will be provided, and most art and fashion showcased throughout the event will be available for purchase. 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM | Harm Reduction Workshops Arrive early to shop the vendor market and participate in our community classes. There are exactly three workshops, and all are free with your General Admission (before 7pm) ticket. Narcan Training (4:00 PM): Learn life-saving overdose reversal basics hosted by BAWG & HIPS. Sewing & Mending (5:00 PM): Introduction to Sewing class, hosted by Saba, focusing on garment repair and sustainability skills. Self-Defense Training (6:00 PM): Practical community safety tactics. 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM | The Warm-Up & Open Bar DJ Kawthar (@OysterBidet) will take over the decks to warm up the room leading into the runway show. Grab a drink at the open bar featuring exclusive drink specials. 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM | The Infinite Motion Runway Show & After-Party Celebrate Rendered's eight-year anniversary with an immersive experience highlighting our roots as a sustainable fashion brand in the DMV area. The presentation features our new collections alongside guest DJs, singers, and live performances. The runway flows directly into the dance floor with an end-of-night DJ set flowing to all three floors.
