Jozé Arce, known artistically as Jocan Dekä, is a DJ and producer from Mexico City with over 17 years of experience in the underground scene. Throughout his musical career, he has stood out for his approach to blending House and Techno, incorporating various musical subgenres such as Downtempo, Leftfield, Italo & Dark Disco, Afro, Bass Music, Breaks, and IDM. This combination of styles and trends has resulted in a unique sound that Jocan Dekä has named "Hybrid." Since 2006, he has participated in various projects and collaborated with producers, DJs, collectives, and artists, allowing him to perform at festivals, clubs, bars, and events in Mexico,Spain, and France. In 2014, he was selected to participate in BOILER ROOM Mexico and won his first award as the best Techno DJ in his hometown that same year. In 2020, he permanently moved to Nantes, where he has distinguished himself by the quality of his mixes. Jozé is the creator of the project and label "Zentral Rebel," founded in 2018 with the goal of promoting emerging artists in Latin American and European electronic music. In September 2022, he launched his show "WE ARE REBELS" on the renowned Radio DY10 (Blockhaus) in Nantes and has been involved with collectives such as Optimé, Venus, ContreSense, and Bewonder, sharing the stage with numerous renowned artists such as Kaytranada, Scuba, Bambounou, Seth Troxler, Rebolledo, Mangabey, Dj Ravin, El Buho, Chancha vía Circuito, Parra for Cuva, DJ T, Anhedonia, and Atoem. As a solo producer and in collaborations, he has signed his music with various labels in Mexico and Europe, including Buddha Bar, Baikal Nomads, Stig Records, Wild Evidence, Tráfico Music, Blaq Records, and Spira Music.
