As One 1820 is a Guinean rapper and composer. He is currently one of the most prominent rappers among Guinean youth. José Zaino Zauad aka As One 1820 was born on August 6, 1985 in Dijon, France. He left for Guinea-Bissau, specifically in Galomaro, where he grew up. At the age of 11, he moved to the capital of the country, Bissau, where he became part of the rap group "Os Balobeiros". In recent years, after leaving the country to settle in Portugal, he decided to invest in his solo career, recording numerous musical tracks mostly heard by youth. In 2016, As One 1820 was awarded as the ‘Best Guinean Rapper’ by the Social Forum for the Projection of Guinean Culture. In 2017, after this distinction, As One 1820 signed a brand contract with the telecommunications company MTN where his image was exclusively controlled and exploited by them. On August 11, 2018, after many expectations, As One 1820 released his first solo album entitled ‘Orgasmo Cerebral’, an album consisting of 18 musical tracks with lyrics focused on the intimate issues in the novel, especially the situation of women. The album featured collaborations by Eric Daro, One G and Viruses. On November 10, 2018, the Guinean musician filled the National Stadium September 24 in Bissau, thus recording his name on the Guinean music scene. Today, having achieved great success with the hits "Milay" and "Dan Bu Number", As One 1820 is about to release his second album "Oxigénio".
