Psydream is Ana Tavares from Porto, Portugal. Her love for music began very early, and in 2004 she started to be connected with Psy Trance music. After one year, she started going to some small parties organized by friends, and as her love for the trance movement began to grow, she also started to experience the environment of the big parties and the true feeling that music brings to people. Her first mixing experience was in 2009, just for fun, with her boyfriend – Gandhabba – and it was at this time that she began to realize how real the pleasure of mixing was. After playing at some small parties, she was invited to show her work at big events, and now the joy of playing to the crowd has become a part of her life. In 2012, she joined the Mind Experience team, a visionary and challenging label, and in early 2013 she became part of the female label Magnetika Agency. In the next year, she became part of the Pink Sheep Project, an organization with different concepts focused on pushing some boundaries within the Portuguese Psy Trance scene. A few years later, she started to be more connected with night time psychedelic trance, and that’s when she began playing in other countries such as Italy, Netherlands, France, more recently to her first experience at HADRA FESTIVAL, Ireland, Denmark, and Spain. In 2018, she finally arrived at Reversible Records. In 2019, she released her first VA with Reversible Records, titled “Oriens Nyctalus”. In her sets, she likes to transmit a psychedelic trip for those who are listening and tell a story through the music, making a journey through the Psychedelic Trance spectrum.
