A pioneer activist, Crys L (Christophe Lyard) has been a key figure on the French electronic scene for over 30 years. From experimental projects with Pacific 231 to artistic direction at the legendary Magic club in Grenoble—where he organized his first raves with Laurent Garnier—he’s always blended passion with vision. Founder of Futuria Production, Trance-Mission, and the label Sekence (home to Phunky Data, Kiko, Lake Soul…), he co-founded Technopol in 1996 and helped shape iconic events such as Hexagona, the Amplitudes Festival, and Futuria Raves at Paris’ Zénith. A central player in the Rhône-Alpes scene’s rise (alongside Kiko, Oxia, Agoria…), he’s crossed paths with Moby, Prodigy, Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, David Guetta, and Cerrone, whom he’s supported since 2013. Post-pandemic, he returned to machines and decks with residencies on Club FG and Maxximum, a release on Balagan Music (Wagram), and his debut single This Is My Berlin (with Rocket Mike) in 2023. Things have taken off since: Cherchez le Garçon (Kiko Remix), Hironoda, and Primal have entered key playlists. Crys L now shares the stage with Cerrone, Josh Wink, Popof, Marc Houle, Timid Boy, performing in Paris, Ibiza, Geneva, Lyon… Between progressive house, melodic techno and club spirit, he follows a free, passionate path.
