Born into a family of artists, Elijah Rose grew up in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, where music was a central part of life at home. She later moved to England, where she discovered a new approach to music, broadening her perspective and refining her style. Her debut EP, Déjà Ailleurs (2020), infused with neo-soul influences, was released during the pandemic and quickly drew attention. That same year, she dropped Noblesse, a single in collaboration with Nigerian singer Chidokeyz. In 2021, her second project Quelques Secondes continued to explore chill, soulful textures, blending R&B, soul, and jazz. Her third project, ERA, leaned into trap and drill vibes, earning her placements in several playlists, including Spotify’s editorial playlist Le Miel. Elijah Rose’s lyrics and toplines reflect a strong, authentic personality — a woman who embraces both her strengths and imperfections, unapologetically. After being named Artist of the Week on Mouv’, she returned with Just a Man, a musical tribute to the golden age of Motown, spotlighted by Buibox.
