“Boring” is a word unknown to these four aesthetes, direct heirs to the flamboyant Dogs and purveyors of elegant savagery since 2019. The aim, before entering the studio, was to recapture the spirit of the Sun Records sessions, that blend of energy and simplicity that goes straight to the point. This goal was fully achieved, with the help of Jim Diamond, who faithfully recorded the incandescent rock’n’roll of the Dynamite Shakers.
