22-year-old Los Angeles based producer/DJ “IKU” is bringing experimental to a whole other level of the trap/bass genre. IKU strives to bring a unique experimental sound with getting influences from artist like Skrillex , ISOxo , Peekaboo , Joyryde & more! From the age of 10-years-old he fell in love with playing piano and music like Kanye West , The Cure , & more. In his early teen years he discovered EDM and that’s where his whole life shifted. He began as a DJ as early as 19-years-old playing out for house parties and underground warehouse raves. From his love of performing out for people IKU began producing. IKU’s brand centers around grungy , dark , but also a melodic take on Electronic music . IKU’s sound really shows his passion for multiple sub-genres of EDM whether it be trap , bass , dubstep , techno , house you name it! A ton of his unreleased music has gotten attention and support from Brownies & Lemonade , CRANKDAT , Hamdi , Ray Volpe , ROSSY , JUELZ , BLOOM & more! IKU is undoubtedly one to watch out for. Bridging the gaps seamlessly between genres, and creating refreshing soundscapes with his work. A young prodigy combines his rave scene roots with the exhilarating festival sounds of today's dance music world.
