Extravagant, hedonistic, futuristic, tropical, queer. Artivism, music and performance. VENGA-VENGA is the multidisciplinary project of the artist couple Ricardo Don (vocalist, music producer, lyricist, DJ, performer and visual artist) and Denny Azevedo (vocalist, composer, DJ, performer and beauty artist). They started in 2013, and today it is an itinerant cultural movement that brings together music, performance, poetry, parties and photography, video art and urban interventions, dialoguing with sexual diversity, hedonism and migration in the form of aesthetic appeal. Currently based in Lisbon, with 3 EPs already released and 3 official remixes produced, several soundtracks and dj-sets, they musically work on electronic music fusion, where they show their Brazilian roots influences where they go, a contemporary mix, an identity patchwork and artivism.
