The collective takes on people of all sexualities, gender expressions & body types. “We are very proud to bring this music back to its inclusive roots. Let’s bring back what once united us.” Latest album When I Lost, I Found Myself saw founding member Tom bringing together acclaimed British vocalists and musicians, including collaborations with <a href="spotify:artist:4LR3BRvTeWCiS1l16TqXVh" data-name="Sophie Faith">Sophie Faith</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5rxxzsO9zojzg0FfWVmIv7" data-name="shiv">shiv</a> & <a href="spotify:artist:39cDMNnxwjrKJE1dyt47jh" data-name="Oscar Jerome">Oscar Jerome</a> , demonstrating the innate musicality of the project, with the intention, “to create beautiful songs within a house music framework.” With the ability to perform as a full live band, & Tom in high demand and adept selector as a DJ - the Girls Of The Internet live experience adds another layer to the experience. Having performed at Glastonbury, The Warehouse Project, Drumsheds, Printworks, Latitude, Lost Village, Fabric, XOYO, Pikes & Hï - March 2024 saw them sell out the iconic Jazz Café. Crafting songs with real musicians, the group’s name was inspired by <a href="spotify:artist:6R9Mv0bgGE4Tqxna1q5Mrj" data-name="Roy Ayers">Roy Ayers</a>’ Ladies of the 80’s project; “I just loved the concept, & I wanted to do the same thing with Girls of the Internet,” explains Tom. “I wanted a name that played with gender, & people’s subconscious misogyny.
