Boiler Room Montreal 2025 | DJ & Producer Gurafiku is a DJ and producer operating at the intersection of Afro-diasporic club culture and global electronic music. Rooted in Haitian rhythmic traditions and shaped by contemporary club systems, her sound blends Bouyon, Shatta, Amapiano, Gqom, Baile Funk, Konpa, Zouk, Afro House, hip-hop, and R&B into high-impact sets and productions designed for international dancefloors. Her breakout appearance at Boiler Room in 2025 introduced her sound to a worldwide audience, marking a decisive shift from regional presence to global circulation. Following the performance, DJ Mag noted that Gurafiku “raises the flag for Caribbean sounds within contemporary global club culture,” positioning her as a new voice carrying Afro-Caribbean rhythms onto the world’s largest dancefloors. As a producer, Gurafiku made her official debut in 2024 with OKAY BUT MAKE IT HAITIAN, a self-produced project merging Haitian rhythmic frameworks with modern club textures. The release surpassed 30,000 plays on SoundCloud and received support from Apple Music, Rinse FM, and The Lot Radio, establishing her as a producer within the global club ecosystem. Her debut EP is currently in development and scheduled for release in 2026. Her international activity spans Asia, Europe, and North America, with performances in South Korea, Mexico, Japan, Paris, and Chicago. She has shared stages with Andre Power, Falcons, Nasthug, and other artists shaping contemporary global club culture. Beyond performance and production, Gurafiku curates Gurafiku & Friends, an event series focused on Afro-diasporic club sounds and edit culture — reinforcing her position not just as a DJ, but as an active contributor to the evolution of global club music.
