Hayyoo is a melodic house project by Denver-based producer Ian LaPhilliph. His artist name and emotionally-driven sound are rooted in a desire to express what words often can’t, capturing moments of reflection, movement, and transformation. Born from late-night writing sessions during the pandemic, Hayyoo’s music blends lush chord work, dreamy atmospheres, and dancefloor-friendly grooves, shaped by influences like Lane 8, Sultan + Shepard, and Ben Böhmer. His tracks invite listeners into a soundscape where melody leads and emotion follows. With support from artists like Nora En Pure and EDX, radio spins on SiriusXM Chill, and releases on labels such as Enormous Chills, Rewoven, Pinkstar Black, and Routine Espresso, Hayyoo has carved out a signature style defined by depth and heart.
