Across all his projects, he is driven by a hunger for experimentation, an innate understanding of dance, pop, and indie music’s inner workings, and a heartfelt love of collaboration. Joe embraces the role of ‘producer’ on a musical, practical, and spiritual level. His infatuation with dance music began as a teenager in the ’90s, attending clubnights where he progressed from indie and hip hop to drum’n’bass to house and garage. On top of his solo records, Joe has released eight albums with <a href="spotify:artist:37uLId6Z5ZXCx19vuruvv5" data-name="Hot Chip">Hot Chip</a> two with <a href="spotify:artist:0tCMgjr8y7UKNmE3B1Uwbl" data-name="The 2 Bears">The 2 Bears</a> and one with <a href="spotify:artist:62leN9NRMUgDfPzshm7K5L" data-name="HARD FEELINGS">HARD FEELINGS</a>. He’s worked with <a href="spotify:artist:13W7XLRXdWeLmIu9vacE1w" data-name="Jarvis Cocker">Jarvis Cocker</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7C4sUpWGlTy7IANjruj02I" data-name="Peter Gabriel">Peter Gabriel</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0JLWCJW5fXlpK5FujWv1N3" data-name="Bernard Sumner">Bernard Sumner</a>; remixed <a href="spotify:artist:5Mq7iqCWBzofK39FBqblNc" data-name="Jessie Ware">Jessie Ware</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0dmPX6ovclgOy8WWJaFEUU" data-name="Kraftwerk">Kraftwerk</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6nS5roXSAGhTGr34W6n7Et" data-name="Disclosure">Disclosure</a>; co-wrote <a href="spotify:artist:6jJ0s89eD6GaHleKKya26X" data-name="Katy Perry">Katy Perry</a>&#39;s “Into Me You See”; and released the 2011 hit “Gabriel” with <a href="spotify:artist:0qDEhyfeFBVihHtyPWCDdh" data-name="Valentina">Valentina</a>.
