Jorrdan is from the south of France. Born late 90s, he has developed since 2018 a rare musical approach, unique to his generation, by introducing teenage mythology of the 21st century into the lexicon of contemporary music and electronic music. He has been exploring writing and arrangement for instrumental ensembles, as well as acoustic and spectral studies and soundscape ecology for several years. In 2018 Jorrdan was the laureate of the SACEMʼs aid for the creation of original soundtrack for the short film Water is Gold Here directed by Valentin Coutelis and produced by le GREC. Jorrdan’s music brings together extremely varied references and musical materials, including the spectral music of Gérard Grisey and Fausto Romitelli, american folk music of James Taylor and Neil Young, the composite post-metal of Old Man Gloom and Jesu, as well as various figures of electronic music like Prurient, Sebastian, Arca or Jackson and his Computer Band.
