Klaws (Pangea Productions / Re:Think Techno/ Pure Perception Records) Klaws is Pangea Production’s lead conductor and co-creator, as well as founder and active member of the Re:Think Techno label & movement. He has been at the forefront of the electronic scene in the Carolinas and beyond for more than 16 years, together with a collective of likeminded artists. Klaws’ sound, a.k.a ‘liquid funk,’ is a combination of deep techno, minimal grooves, a dash of house and a good measure of dub, always keeping it deep, spacey, and with a driving groove. He first got exposed to the sounds of electronic music in his native country Romania. Since then, the passion for driving, cutting-edge music only became stronger. Klaws has played festivals and events throughout the US, France, Romania, and beyond, organized numerous Pangea Productions & Re:Think Techno events as well as one South East premier underground electronic music festivals, “Welcome to Pangea”, now in it's 16th year. Together with the Re:think Techno and Pangea crews, he is highlighting a raw, high quality underground musical and visual immersive experience in all events, with heavy focus on local and regional talent, and also international surprise appearances. Always re:inventing, and creating a safe artistic expression space for the tribe and attendees. With his EPs releases on Pure Perception Records and Release Musiq, Klaws is pushing the boundaries of electronic music to create driving, hypnotic, atmospheric sounds.
