Born in Paris, KWEN is an electronic music artist and manager of MINDGAME Records, a label he co-founded with the French duo Birds of Mind in 2020. Raised in a family of professional musicians, KWEN spent his life as a passionate music devotee. He began his journey early as a guitar soloist, a foundation that shaped his understanding of sound and composition before evolving into electronic music. Drawing from a wide range of influences, he has developed a distinctive sound, seamlessly navigating between progressive, indie and melodic house. His distinctive approach to each performance makes him a consistent standout. His sets mix forgotten record gems and current favorite cuts, offering a perfect balance of timelessness and freshness. This mirrors MINDGAME Records’ ethos of honoring musical heritage while embracing forward-thinking creativity and modern sounds. Over the past few years, KWEN has gained increasing recognition, performing alongside industry-leading artists such as Innellea, WhoMadeWho, Agents Of Time, Monolink, Stephan Bodzin, Notre Dame, Denis Horvat, Satori and Agoria, to name only a few. In 2023, KWEN’s reach extended beyond Europe, with performances in the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Lebanon, India, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar. Lately, KWEN released his track ‘Occidente’ on Unreleased Records, Arodes' label in partnership with Armada Music. The track reached Beatport's Top 10 Afro House chart and received support worldwide from artists such as Blond:ish, Arodes, Shimza and Birds of Mind, among others. Played at renowned events and venues including Ushuaia, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Pacha Ibiza, the release further expanded his presence on the international electronic music circuit.
