Diving into the hypnotic waves of surf punk and indie rock, the band Maré Tardia rises from the infernal sands of Vila Velha, located on the Brazilian state, Espírito Santo (a state known to separate Rio de Janeiro and Bahia). With guitars screaming, saturated, twisted and delay, reverbed. A melodic bass and frenetic feature of the drums. Putting together an intense vibrating sound. The vocals swings between rough and smooth, rising up the energy of the musics, those that can bring a connecting within the legendary surf music from <a href="spotify:artist:6Ycrt8OjGSSFihsb0446eg" data-name="Dick Dale">Dick Dale</a>, the classic punk from <a href="spotify:artist:4RjtLUZNqLtMpRKIOaVokc" data-name="Dead Boys">Dead Boys</a> and last but not least the modern indie rock from <a href="spotify:artist:0epOFNiUfyON9EYx7Tpr6V" data-name="The Strokes">The Strokes</a>. Founded in 2019 by Bruno Lozorio (guitarist/vocal) and Gustavo Lacerda (guitarist/vocal), the Maré Tardia consolidated its formation with the entrance of Matheus Canni (bass) and Caio Mendonça (drums). With nearly 30 songs released, including singles, the debut album “<a href="spotify:album:2DohwYbAHoQhVfSf39ew3Z" data-name="Maré Tardia">Maré Tardia</a>” (2022) and the EP “<a href="spotify:album:3yEIEHHlQHwE8EvgJ6Mi6s" data-name="Jovens Estúpidos">Jovens Estúpidos</a>” (2023), the band has opened important shows from the independent Brazilian scene, like <a href="spotify:artist:7Lvg39k5XgXevGR767ikYI" data-name="Dead Fish">Dead Fish</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:73HkjgziMO6I83vFOS8mo1" data-name="Supercombo">Supercombo</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:51aX6xmdT0iMI1FNCONTzR" data-name="Molho Negro">Molho Negro</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5OlITTCPCIxWOa3TEpemuF" data-name="Matanza">Matanza</a>. And also participated on a various festivals around the country. Maré Tardia&#39;s songs were also included in playlists on Spotify, like <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DWZi7MSnECo7D" data-name="alt BR">alt BR</a> and <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DWYzpSJHStHHx" data-name="Surf Rock Sunshine">Surf Rock Sunshine</a>. Now, the band released their second album, Sem Diversão Pra Mim, in 2025, distributed by Deck.
