Brazilian singer, songwriter, musical producer and multi instrumentalist. MUS Awards winner (2023) as Best Musical Influencer, with over 2 million followers on her social media platforms. Her videos playing asalato turned her into a worldwide reference on the instrument, a teacher and a pioneer. Her first album ‘Crônica’ (2022) was self produced and recorded in her room. Mari’s most viral videos are singing ‘Feira de Mangaio’ (Glorinha Gadelha/Sivuca), ‘Bote no Lugar’ (Mari Merenda) and ‘Rodopiado’ (Ronaldo Silva) - which later was recorded with Sofi Tukker as ‘Veneno’. In her first Eurotour, Mari played at Portugal, Spain and France (2024).
