Born and raised in Greece and of specially mixed descent, Ibiza-based DJ and producer, Marina George, embodies an array of nationalities and influences which steadily gravitate towards deep, dark and sensual techno. With a deep-rooted attraction to the unusual, Marina sets the stage within various shades of strange and a discrete touch of dark; a home far away from comfort zones, often blending heavy beats with her own vocals. Born into a family background of ballet and opera, music was always present in Marina’s life. A classically-trained pianist and songwriter during her younger years, Marina later developed a deep love for grunge, rock and punk; the exact rebellious flavours of which still infiltrate her approach to electronic music. Equipped with a relentless work ethic and an undying passion, Marina’s raw honesty is translated through her gripping, diverse selections. Something which has been evident during performances supporting a number of industry heavyweights in the UK and Ibiza. With her musical presence finally ascending, she has graced the booth of many Ibiza hotspots and has hosted guest mixes for the likes of Techno Underground, Sound of Berlin, Pure Ibiza Radio and more. The early months of 2020 also saw her complete her first UK tour, and more recently, the signing of her very first release on prestigious techno label Suara.
