Bio: Neko Berg aka the “Party Pirate,” is a Brazilian born, Washington DC native who was first introduced to dance music at fourteen. He began mixing at age 23 after being inspired by his travels to Europe and South America. Most of his sets range stylistically from downtempo to all different forms of house and even some techno. His sound is derivative from Latin and African rhythm. In the DMV (Washington DC area), Neko is most recognized as a premier Flash Club resident. Throughout Neko's career he's collaborated with some of Washington DC's most prominent talent and has performed alongside artists like Black Coffee, Hot Since 82, Bedouin, Matthew Dekay, YokOo, Gorje Hewek & Izhevski, Torren Foot, SCUBA, Moon Boots, Sparrow and Barbossa, Richey Ahmed, and the list goes on. Outside of Flash, he’s held residencies with El Techo, U-Street Music Hall, Eighteenth Street Lounge, Jimmy Valentine's Lonely Hearts Club & is currently hosting a monthly radio show at the Eaton Hotel.
