Trapped between flesh and electronics, OTTOMAN GRÜW is the mutant project of interdisciplinary artist Jean Grünewald. Floating at the crossroads of industrial techno, EBM, and electronica, while playing freely with contemporary rave esthetic, OTTOMAN GRÜW’s rebel frequencies aim to blur borders within dancefloor-oriented sound - from live performance to music production, and sometimes dj set.
 Performing and producing since 2017, OTTOMAN GRÜW’s compositions hold often an intense and strange edge - rich of distorted voices, raw analog percussions and noises from another dimension. Mystical and atmospheric, although characterized by relentless rhythms, this signature is self-described as 'intergalactic body music'. 
However, it's during live-sets that you can testify of OTTOMAN GRÜW's full potential : with a hint of punk attitude, coupled to the rigor of hardware drum-machines and synthesizers, it results in an endless journey through a dystopian solar system. These performances are the nucleus of OTTOMAN GRÜW’s identity - by offering to who listens a visceral response, they aim to be transformative experiences. For dj sets, OTTOMAN GRÜW imbly navigates through the dark but playful corners of electronic music, all wrapped up in a healthy dose of cathartic chaos.
