Thomas and Julien de Bie are two dutch brothers from the South of France. Growing up influenced by jazz, Parallells propose an acoustic live-act mixing several genres whilst keeping a groovy and melodic edge. With their distinct style and approach, Julien and Thomas regularly explore unusual places where they capture all kinds of sounds and transform them into pieces of electro music. A wood factory, a hospital, a workshop, a supermarket, a ski resort, an airport, a restaurant kitchen, a greenhouse, and even a dental's office has been their creative playground for their upcoming Album "A Day At". They also created "A Day In” which translates cultures by the power of sound through field recordings and collaborations with local and traditional musicians. “We want to show the viewer the importance of listening. Especially guiding the audience to feel, experience and fully grasp a specific culture, landscape and moment from a musical perceptive."
