Syrian artist RAH, born and raised in the DC area and currently based in Brooklyn, NY, is a Techno DJ and Producer serving bass. Her current style and sound are inspired by the idea of uncertain consistency. Incorporating vinyl records into her sets, she manipulates elements that may initially feel uncomfortable, embracing dissonance and tension, yet over time, they fuse into something entirely unique. Layering, contrast, and unpredictability become tools to highlight raw, expressive moments, creating a dynamic flow that keeps listeners on edge. RAH’s style is constantly evolving but currently resonates most with hypnotic Techno, drawing inspiration from the gritty rawness of a live experience, where every element exists with intention. She is an experienced selector with performances at Flash DC, where she has directly supported artists like Patrick Mason, Lily Palmer, Alarico, and Hector Oaks. Most recently, she played a B2B set with KRØK, closing out the night for DJ Dextro in DC. She is also the co-founder of PAST, an event production company focused on reawakening the roots of techno culture through immersive, no-frills experiences that center sound over spectacle.
