A stage. A drum set. That's all it takes. Percussion instruments have always magically attracted Scimia. At the age of six, he hold the drumsticks in his own hands for the first time and fell in love. But he's not fascinated by this instrument alone. Music transforms him into a wild animal looking for more. Classical piano and music theory satisfy this desire at first. But the animal wants to get out on stage, it is hungry for an audience that connects with him. As „Monkey drummer“ he steps into the spotlight of the jungle. In this figure he creates a connection with nature on stage. As an endangered primate, Scimia produces beats to wake people up. He catapults his audience into the middle of the deforestation of the Amazon. A harrowing scenery of the presence merges with a revived sound of the 80s. New Wave and Disco set the tone while the jungle unruly dances against the constraints of modernity. Compositions from the 70s meet a drum set of heavy metal. If a horde has nevertheless lost its way at a musical crossing, synths lead the way to the future. A future that is unreal. No wonder Scimia was invited to perform at a big video game fair. His tracks are inspired by games like DOOM or Castlevania. With his new album "Game of Drones", which will be released by Audiolith on the 9th of September, Scimia lays the foundation for his professional music career.
