Shaney is a DJ and producer from Brittany and based in Bordeaux. An emerging artist on the French scene, he has performed in clubs such as Rex, Kilomètre 25, Essaim, Ostra, Rhapsodie and Glazart. In Europe, he has played at Düsseldorf's Gate and Amsterdam's Levenslang. Shaney has shared the decks with major figures on the techno scene, like Surgeon, Dasha Rush, DJ Red, Bas Mooy, Rene Wise, Remco Beekwilder, The Lady Machine, Zadig and many others. In 2019, he founded the S.Lab Ltd label with the aim of bringing together the big names of the international scene and young emerging artists. Today, S.Lab Ltd boasts over thirty artists, including Zadig, Tauceti, Truncate, Voiski, Umwelt Quelza, Dimi Angélis, Tadeo, Kuss, Marc Faenger and Benabou, on some fifteen releases. An established producer, Shaney released on prestigious labels such as Construct Re-Form, Mord, Illegal Alien and Dynamic Reflection. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Rex Club, he created the “Unerwartet” project with his friends, Darzack, Dc11, Porteix and ZPKF: a quintet based on 100% analog live machine improvisation. On last June 10, Unerwaret released his first track “The First Planet On The Map” on the Portuguese label “Hayes collective” founded by Temudo & Norbak. With Zadig, he creates a new live alias: Lobstertronic, based on their common influences - from breakbeat to electro, via techno. Many projects are coming soon…
