Author, composer, and performer, Theobuntu is the architect of a futuristic and contemplative sonic and visual universe. Through sound design, textured vocals, and melodies crafted to convey emotion, his creations resonate with those seeking to feel and dance. His debut EP, Exode, independently released in 2020, set the artistic direction of the project and introduced the Artefact, a luminous hexagonal entity that accompanies him on stage and in all his visuals. The PAPA initiative in Hauts-de-Seine and RADAR in Val-d’Oise recognized the potential of his project, providing financial and professional support for its development. This support enabled him to continue building his dystopian universe in 2021/2022 with two new works: Escape Virtuality and Into Reality. The first chapter, Escape Virtuality, explores the awakening of a soul tormented by the virtual world and yearning for tangible sensations. Garnering over 500,000 streams to date, it secured Theobuntu a spot among the top 100 promising talents identified by Pernod Ricard Live Music. In 2024, Into Reality emerged, chronicling the transition to the real world, the rebirth of a man seeking to uncover his true nature and understand his environment. This release marked a leap in production quality and promotional reach, propelling the EP toward one million streams by the end of 2024.
