Tommy Kid is a Bass Music DJ and producer who started his career by playing some Drum’n’Bass records in Paris and turns later into Grime, UK Funky, Dubstep and Baltimore Club music. His very diverse DJ sets show great skills when it comes to play from a genre to another one or from dancefloor dedicated anthems to more underground tracks. He already played alongside DJs like RUDIMENTAL, SHY FX, DJ EZ, REDLIGHT, KINGDOM, ROSKA, PEARSON SOUND and DJ ONEMAN. As Burn Residency 2013 contest winner, he played at SANKEYS and then became resident DJ for UK promoter TOGETHER at IBIZA ROCKS HOTEL and at AMNESIA IBIZA. His productions are regularly played on British radios like RINSE FM and BBC RADIO1 and received support by SBTRKT, LIL SILVA, REDLIGHT, MONKI or MAK & PASTEMAN. After a first track released via “TOP BILLIN”, his first “East Street” EP signed on SOUNDS OF SUMO, ranked #1 of the UK Garage / Funky House selling charts during 2 weeks on Junodownload website. In 2014, back in Paris, he co-launched his label [RE]SOURCES, a Bass Music imprint on which he released several tracks which received some big support locally and abroad from MUMDANCE, ROSKA, REDLIGHT and SPECIAL REQUEST. Alongside this new project, Tommy co-hosts a web-radio show on RINSE.FR and runs [RE]SOURCES label nights in Paris venues such as SOCIAL CLUB, NOUVEAU CASINO and LA JAVA. His last single “Raptor” was released on US -based KNIGHTWERK RECORDS with remixes by NADUS, MIKE G, MURDER HE WROTE and ANA SIA.
