Inspired by Detroit techno, electroclash, and EBM, Transgression claims an irreverent style with an aesthetic close to Gesaffelstein, The Hacker, Miss Kittin, Dave Clarke, as well as Boys Noize and Vitalic. Transgression advocates a dark and captivating vision through dense productions imbued with melancholy, desire, and sometimes even anger. The rhythms are powerful and the drops massive. The groovy and deep basslines blend with sharp, energy-filled synths, heavily utilizing the SH101, DX7, MS20, and Juno106. It’s a return to the Social Club era when the Zone and Ed Banger labels reigned supreme, updated with a 3.0 French touch.
