Ethereal vocals bed themselves on top of synth splashes, reverbed guitar and kaleidoscopic beats in French artist Tryphème’s sonic cosmos. Ever since her 2017 debut “Online Dating” on renowned Sheffield-based CPU Records and the follow-up records, Tryphème has been crafting her genre-defying sound that draws from a wide array of influences such as 80s Wave, Trip-Hop, 70s Loner Folk and bleeping downtempo. Her music is the seamless conjunction of the organic and the technological: the vivid textures of her elastic voice and the underlying synth-infused electronica.
