LISAS is a DJ emerging from the New York techno scene whose expertise spans a multitude of roles. From working as sound engineer in recording studios alongside artists such as David Byrne, Floating Points, Oneohtrix Point Never, to performing and touring in the band The Rapture, and producing music for the Ayama NYFW SS24 fashion show; all while repairing vintage analog synthesizers and outboard gear, and managing production for raves and large scale events-the many layers of her journey are diverse and captivating. Her foray into DJing - an evolution grounded in her extensive knowledge and boundless curiosity of sound, has become the focal point of her current ascent, where sheʼs known to unleash an array of striking selections. In her own words, her blend of “post-apocalyptic arpeggiators and mermaid synthesisˮ fuses groovy techno with sizzling bursts of electro, driving trance, heady IDM, glossy breaks, subwoofer growling bass music, and anthemic rave weapons draped in lush emotive synthscapes. Her colorful and dynamic style has earned her a coveted residency at Brooklynʼs bastion of excellence, The Lot Radio, along with gigs across top clubs and notorious underground parties across the world, as well as features on notable mix series and major FM radio stations.
