Amsterdam Techno Sessions is a weekly Techno event, held every Thursday, in Amsterdam.
Local and international artists are invited to showcase their work and personal definitions of Techno every week.
TOMORROW NIGHT – Saturday, April 12th, 2025 – we’re back at @clubjohndoe for another unforgettable edition of AMS Techno Sessions!
This time, we’re proud to welcome a true icon of the scene: @dimiangelis.
To call Dimi Angélis a veteran is an understatement. From the early days of the Dutch underground in the late ’90s, he’s been a driving force behind the evolution of techno in the Netherlands—throwing raves, spinning wax when ‘underground’ meant something, and constantly pushing boundaries.
Over the past two decades, Dimi has graced the decks of legendary venues like @berghain_ostgut, @awakenings, @under.club.oficial, and @dkmntl. His style? Raw, emotional, and unapologetically honest—crafted to move minds and bodies alike.
As a producer, his legacy is just as deep. From his early partnership with Jeroen Search to his solo releases on Mord, Axis Records, Warm Up, and his own imprint ANGLS, Dimi continues to shape the sound of techno for the next generation.
