BOOF is a queer-led underground brand with a focus on world-building. Through high-production design and a dance floor-first mindset, we shape environments that feel cohesive, immersive, and intentional. In two years, BOOF has grown into one of San Francisco’s most vital queer nightlife spaces. 🫶 COMMUNITY ACCESS BOOF is for the dolls, the femmes, the dykes, the gays, the theys, the FLINTA community, and the full spectrum of queer life. When demand exceeds what we can provide, we prioritize people who have historically faced greater barriers to accessing queer nightlife, including trans people, FLINTA, disabled community members, and others underrepresented on our dance floors.* If a full-price ticket is comfortably within your means, purchasing one helps us keep Community Access Tickets available for others. 💸 WHERE THE BUDGET GOES 🪩 Sound, Lighting, and Art · $30.11 (38.6%) — The artists and production crews transforming the Mint: sound systems, lighting, immersive room designs, installations, decor, and all the little details that make each space its own world. 🎧 Music & Performance · $11.54 (14.8%) — Our DJs, gogos, and hosts, plus artist travel, hotels, and hospitality. 🏛️ Rental Fees · $10.42 (13.4%) — Renting the historic SF Mint and installing the temporary power infrastructure needed to bring the building to life. 🛡️ Safety + Cleanup · $7.72 (9.9%) — Professional security, on-site medical support, cleaning crews, additional bathrooms and handwashing stations, permits, insurance, and structural signoff for our buildouts. 🚚 Move Team · $2.93 (3.8%) — The heavy-lifting divas getting equipment and materials into the Mint and back out again. Trucks of equipment are brought in to support this event. 📣 Marketing · $1.90 (2.4%) — Poster design, teasers, photography, video, advertising, and the marketing systems that help our community find the dance floor. 🧃 Guest Services & Supplies · $2.38 (3.0%) — Door and coat-check staff, food for our setup team, and practical essentials, from coat-check bags to zip ties. 💳 Service Fees · $11.05 (14.2%) — Ticketing and payment-processing fees of 13.5% of the base ticket price, plus an additional $2 fee given to the venue as a royalty per ticket sold. 🎟️ Ticket total goes towards: $67.00 · Fees: $11.05 · Total: $78.05 21+ @boof.party @squishsf
