ORMSIDE presents Jordanian-Palestinian rapper and producer Shbash for a rare London appearance. Reshaping Arabic trap and drill, his releases trace stories of displacement and defiance paired with high calibre live performances. Joining him is DJ Gawad, Amman-via-London producer and longstanding collaborator of Shbash, presenting a new live collaboration with Haifa rapper Pierre Pepe. Nihal, Cairo-born London-based host of NTS’s Nile to Bank joins the lineup – continuing her mission of bridging London and the MENA region, weaving shared frequencies across language and landscape. RenzNiro, artist/producer returns to Ormside, bringing Manchester concrete, percussive flow and razor sharp delivery. Babydoom, Travs Presents affiliate, Croydon’s own doomlife specialist, joins the lineup fresh off the back of his latest mixtape, REAL + LIFE. Closing the show, Grandmixxer the South London grime OG producer and innovator behind some of the coldest instrumentals, takes to the booth with his explosive mixing style, restructuring rhythms intuitively on the fly.
