Description
Saturday night unfolds across rooms with a lineup rooted in rhythm, lineage, and deep dance-floor sensibility where global sound, soulful house, and NYC club culture meet. In CARGO, the night opens 10PM–12AM with Kamala Muse, a pioneering force in New York nightlife. DJing professionally since 1997, Kamala’s sound reflects decades of experience shaped by jazz lineage, multicultural roots, and the city’s underground club ecosystem. Her sets move fluidly through soulful house, disco, soul, classic hip-hop, jazz, indie dance, and global rhythms woven with intention, warmth, and a deep respect for the dance floor. From 12AM–3AM, Sabine Blaizin takes CARGO into the late-night stretch. A DJ, producer, and cultural curator dedicated to African diasporic sound, Sabine brings a powerful, grounding energy rooted in Global Soul. Expect a forward-moving blend of house, Afrotech, Afrobeat, and Haitian rhythms where heritage and futurism coexist, and the room locks into a deeper, collective pulse. Meanwhile, the Foyer offers a parallel journey led by Jeremy Giros and Bendito, two selectors whose shared roots trace back to NYC’s SanDia party and Mad Flava NYC collective. Together, they guide the front room with deep and garage house foundations layered with Afro-Latin rhythms, soulful gems, and percussive groove always keeping the dancer at the center. Two rooms. Deep roots. Global frequencies. Come early, stay late, and let the night carry you. Venue opens at 5PM | Happy Hour 5PM-8PM | Music at 9PM
