Description
Sky Dream a song of water across scales Water shapes every body: river, cloud, cell. It is connective tissue of the Earth, carrying memory across scales of space and time, linking breath, and holding signals of climate disruption and ecological change. In this performance, interdisciplinary musician-scientist Willow and sound artist Arden create a listening room where water becomes both method and metaphor. Granular synthesis applied to voice and field recordings explores water's extremes of scale, from suspended mist to the cyclical motion of ocean. Fragmentation and reconstitution mirrors water's own behavior across time: droplets, waves, tides, and back to droplets again. Through unique vocal techniques, synths, song, and immersive spatialization, Willow and Arden unfold an ambisonic experience that listens to water as both witness and teacher. The performance becomes an invitation to enter a hydrological imagination: to embody water in its myriad of forms and ask how we might connect deeper to both ourselves and the world around us.
