Based in Berlin, carrà's sets are built on a continuous spectrum, from ambient stillness to dancefloor tension, grounded in progressive, deep, rolling foundations, pulling into the stranger, more hallucinatory corners of the catalogue. Methodically, they lock the room in: seducing the body, hypnotising the mind, wrapping the dancefloor in a soft, sensual hallucination. As artistic director and resident DJ of the French festival Château Perché and Perchépolis label, they bring that same care to a collective building queer environments, defending spaces of radical freedom and expression, and promoting a politically committed vision of the scene. Rooted in Italian inheritance, carrà draws from diva warmth and metaphysical dreamscapes in equal measure, with psychedelic brush strokes, feminine energy, and an unapologetic taste for style.
